Ladies and gentlemen, meet Walter - the kind of guy you'd take home to meet your mother. Walter is one of the sweetest, kindest horses you could ever wish to meet. A successful career on the track was cut short due to injury, but following a period of careful rehab, he has successfully returned to work, with no signs of the injury recurring. He has taken to a slower pace of life incredibly well, and is looking for a loving and experienced home, where he can continue to thrive and develop.

Walter is very laidback, and has a super sweet and kind nature. He has started to do basic flatwork and is coming on well - his lateral work shows promise, and with time and consistency he will quickly improve. He is incredibly willing, though patience and kindness are the key with this lovely, sensitive boy. The more work that he does, the more he wants to do.Nothing is an issue; he is a real trier and never says no, even if he doesn't fully understand. He has seen coloured poles and popped small fences - no questions asked.

Good to hack too, he goes out happily on his own and although he can be fresh and full of himself, he is never naughty.

Walter is still reasonably young and although his quiet and calm nature do not reflect his young age, I would rather find him a home with someone who has experience with young horses, and specifically thoroughbreds, as they are a very special breed, and require appropriate knowledge to bring out the best in them.

I believe Walter could go on to do very well in any sphere, as he really does try his best to please at all times. Ultimately though, I would like Walter to find a home for life, where his every need will be met, and where he will receive the love he so deserves. This is a very, very special horse, and one I am very reluctant to part with, therefore finding him the right home is paramount. I am in no rush to sell, so prospective homes will be fully vetted.
