Do I have to register to place an advert online?
Yes. We need to be able to communicate with you if you are placing an advert on the RoR Source a Horse website.

What is the difference between the free standard horse advertising option and the £5 feature horse advertising option?
For the £5 feature horse advertising option you will also be able to upload up to 2 videos, and your horse will feature in the Featured Horse Gallery and Horse in the Spotlight on a rotational basis with other adverts under this option, which will increase the exposure of your advert.

How do I make changes to my online advert?

How do I upload a video to my advert?
Firstly you will need to have an account with YouTube and upload your video to YouTube. You will then be able to add the link to YouTube when placing your advert and the video will automatically show up within your advert on the RoR Source a Horse site provided you purchased the £5 Featured Horse Advert option.

All adverts submitted online are firstly checked by RoR Source a Horse so please allow up to 3 working days for your advert to show online.

What is your refund policy?
Please be sure to pay extra attention when creating your advert. RoR Source a Horse is not responsible for user errors. If you make a mistake when creating your advert, you can still edit it by contacting RoR, E: sourceahorse@ror.org.uk. We will not issue refunds for cancelled ads. It is your responsibility to review the advert for all errors and mistakes before placing it on our website. If you have any trouble during the advert placement process or just general questions, please email sourceahorse@ror.org.uk. Please also refer to our Terms & Conditions.

How do I pay for my advert?
We accept payment by credit/debit card. We use Stripe as our online purchasing provider, which ensures your details are kept secure.

How long will my advert remain online?
Adverts remain online for 3 months from the date the advert goes live.

How can I renew my advert?
You will need to redo and pay for the advert again.

How do I establish if my former racehorse has raced or not?
The Racing Post website www.racingpost.com lists every UK registered horse that has raced so is a good place to check but for absolute certainty you should contact Weatherbys (T: 01933 440077). RoR Source a Horse will also check when reviewing your advertisement.
