This gorgeous boy is looking for a new home, but it must be 5*.
Whilst not a novice ride Kid is not dangerous but still has young horse moments.
That said, he is our 15yr old daughter’s horse and she literally spends hours every week hacking alone and with friends around the countryside. Kid is stabled at a farm so happy around heavy machinery and traffic.
He’s a typical TB and if given the choice will take the easy, steady pace in life but switches on when asked.
He is schooled regularly and jumps 90cm easily in our school. He loves pole and grid work.
He has been travelled to lessons and clinics with no problem and likes a job to do.
He is great with the farrier and vet and up to date with teeth and vaccinations.
We never thought we would sell this gorgeous boy, but unfortunately he doesn’t like the competition environment. Our daughter is 15 and wants to compete at the odd event and I don’t have the ability to work him through this. For this reason he is not being sold as a competition horse.
We have taken him to a couple of shows but his anxiety has got the better of him and he becomes frightened and spooky. Someone with experience of ex racehorses may be able to work him through this.
We hope that you will look past this as he is a completely different, loveable, willing horse at home and due to his age will give years of friendship and love to someone that wants a reliable hack and schoolmaster.
