HOME MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRICE

"Super Sam" is looking for his life long retirement home outside of racing. He has been with us for many years and is part of the furniture. We will be very sad to see him go, but its time he found a second career away from racing. He last ran in February last year where he won and then went on his holidays. He picked up a small niggle (which I'm happy to fully divulge and discuss) at the beginning of the summer where we then decided to retire him from racing as he owes us nothing and deserves a fabulous retirement. He has been rehabbed and is ready to start his new job.

Due to his age and his hard racing life we would love to find him a low level dressage, happy hacking type home where he can live out his days with minimal stress, enjoying himself. Throughout his racing career with us, Sam has been ridden in the school and is well established in his flat work.

Sam will be your best mate. He is the coolest dude, loves a fuss and just genuinely makes everyone smile. He is a firm favourite with everyone in the yard but no one more so than the trainers 12 year old son who would ride him on every occasion he possibly could. He was used to lead youngsters, to carry first time work riders up the gallop and accompany any new nervous horse out on there first hacks.

Sam is good to shoe, clip load etc.

Home is very important to us, they will be checked and references will be required. Home is far more important than price and happy to negotiate for the perfect person for the 'Super Sam".
