'Merry' is a sassy mare, she is mareish but everything is manageable.
She has been professionally retrained and went on loan (with a view to buy) to a 14 year old girl for 4 months.
Merry has been to loads of lessons, arena hires, SJ comps, XC schooling… and after all of that we have realised that dressage and hacking/fun rides is what she wants to do. She is so easy to ride and really tries in her flat work, has lovely paces and a gorgeous canter. Hacks out alone and in company.
She does enjoy jumping at low level but with a very competitive teenager wanting to event, it’s just not going to suit her. We feel being an allrounder/riding club horse with potential to go far in Dressage is where her future lies.
No vices or issues, she travels well in lorry and trailer.
