Lovely gelding looking for his next home to continue his education.
He has been off the track for 4 years following a career in flat racing, and has spent the last 2 years being slowly and sympathetically retrained with a very relaxed approach. During this time he has done a little bit of everything and has proven willing and genuine, but he is still very green in places and remains a work in progress.
He can be sharp at times, so requires a competent, confident adult rider who is capable of handling the occasional buck and excitable behaviour. However, he has never reared or bolted. He is not suitable for a child, teenager, novice, nervous rider, or anyone wanting a ready-made horse. He would suit someone experienced, who enjoys bringing on greener horses and wants one to put their own stamp on.
This horse is very much a project, but for the right person willing to invest time and consistency into him, he has plenty of potential to be a rewarding horse in the future. He would ideally like a home where he can live out 24/7, as this is what suits him best and where he is happiest.
