Cindy has been in training but has never raced, she is now looking for a new home outside of racing. She just doesn’t have the desire to be a racehorse and, as she is owned by the trainer, he has decided not to persevere - she's showing such scope for another job.
Although Cindy doesn't want to be a racehorse, she does show a huge amount of potential to be a riding horse. She has beautiful paces and is naturally very rhythmical and uphill. She's very clever, quick-thinking and fast to sort out her feet. Cindy is a beautiful mover and finds flatwork easy and she loves her jumping. She will make someone such a lovely horse, as with all her ability, she also has the loveliest temperament. She loves people and is not nasty in any way.
I believe she will make a fantastic eventer, but she would thrive in any discipline. I think Cindy could be quite competitive and move up the levels quickly as she has a lot of scope. Equally, I think she would also be more than happy to compete at grassroots/ riding club level, especially as her temperament is so gorgeous. Her brother retired from racing and is currently competing novice level eventing.
Although she's been in training with us, Cindy has done a lot of flatwork in the school and is very established, she carries herself with great presence. She's jumped grids and coloured fences and really does love to jump. She has been up the gallops on her own and in the string, she's not strong, is happy in front or behind and is quite happy to go at her own pace.
Cindy has done lots of hacking on her own and in company. She’s very safe, not spooky and has seen cows, sheep, tractors and traffic.
Cindy's one slight downfall is that she strongly dislikes having her mane pulled!
